Tarragona, or Tarraco as it was known by the Romans, was one of the main capitals of the empire in the Peninsula. The past is still alive in the Roman ruins they left and for which it was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. A city with many stories to tell and it is just over 15 minutes from our campsite.
